Dr. Michael Sturgeon is a small animal veterinarian with a strong passion for preventative care and client education. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois. He also has a special interest in veterinary dentistry which he trained with a boarded veterinary dentist but also enjoys other aspects of general practice like surgery, internal medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology.

During his free-time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He loves major league baseball, NCAA basketball and soccer. He shares his house with not only his human family but his animal family as well - 4 cats, 2 leopard tortoises and a bearded dragon. He is still searching for his new canine companion.
