Dr. Adele Pietras
My name is Dr. Adele Pietras and I am a recent graduate from Cornell University’s veterinary medicine program. Following my graduation I accepted a position as a graduate student at the university of Florida studying population genetics in the endangers Black Footed Ferret. My goal as a geneticist/veterinarian is to aid my community and the natural world around me. Outside of my jobs I do many activities ranging from crafts like crocheting, salsa dancing, and playing peculiar sports like underwater hockey. When I have down time, I spend it with my loving, supportive boyfriend and our menagerie of animals (2 birds, 2 cats, and a giant white dog.)
