Dr. Craig Kirk graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor
of Science in Biology in 1997. Since then he has worked in the
veterinary field promoting animal health. In August of 2000,
Dr. Kirk entered veterinary school at the University of Florida College
of Veterinary Medicine. He graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
degree in May of 2004 with a primary interest in small animal/companion
medicine.
Dr. Kirk lives in Alachua, Fl with wife Kelly who is an exotics veterinarian,
their newborn daughter Michaela and their animal family. The
Kirk animal family consists of four dogs (Sonya-Dutch Shepard, Riley
and Duncan-Australian Shepherds, Maggie-Aussie Mix), three cats,
a cockatoo, a tortoise and a steer named 'Bud' who keeps all meter
readers at bay!
In his free time, Dr. Kirk enjoys many outdoor activities such as mountain
biking, scuba diving, and running with the family dogs. Dr. Kirk
has been a part of the Countryside team since 2000.
