Dr. Bansel practiced veterinary medicine in Ocala after graduating from the University of Florida in 2000. After taking time off when her first daughter was born, she began working part-time at Countryside Animal Hospital.  Dr. Bansel lives with her husband, Ujjal, daughters Sonia, 6 and Nina, 2 and three cats (Bootsie, Terry and Tigger). The family dogs Goldie and Kira live on in fond memories.

In her spare time, Dr. Bansel enjoys reading, biking, swimming, running and playing with her children.
